Pool planking ! Anyways this picture was taken before I did some laps. Swimming works basically all of the muscles in the body. As any form of aerobic exercise, swimming uses energy and burns calories.
Cable assisted squat- I'm holding onto a cable attached to a weighted stack. Using the cable however is a useful and easier first step for those who are just starting to squat! I like to do 4 sets with 10 reps.
Step-Ups The step-up is one of the best butt exercises you can do to work on strength, power, and balance. It targets all the main large muscles of the legs, particularly the glutes and hamstrings, and really helps develop a nice shapely, toned butt. How to do it: Stand upright with one foot on a bench or step, holding dumbbells by your sides with your arms straight. Push off your top foot and step up onto the bench (or step) with both feet. Step down onto one foot, keeping the other foot on the bench and repeat. Do 3 sets of 10-12 reps on each leg
The stairmaster is my favorite cardio machine. It is a great way to work out your butt, your thighs and also gives you a great cardio workout! I usually do 20 to 30 minutes 4 times a week. While you are on the stairmaster you could skip stairs to give yourself more of a challenge. I like to also include glute kickbacks after each step to really work my butt !
Set your mind into goal mode, and exercise will come naturally to you! Not only does working out make you look better, but it also makes you feel better.
